Coronavirus is a time bomb!

Everyone has their own subjective opinion about the coronavirus that befell our planet at the end of last year and early this year.

Some of our compatriots are skeptical about COVID19 considering it a non-existent dummy. Someone adheres to the theory of biological warfare. And someone, starting from the new 2020, lives in incomprehensible fear.

Be that as it may, the virus exists! And the fact of its presence is calculated daily in statistics by hundreds of thousands of infected people around the world. The doctors are sounding the alarm. The authorities are trying to take adequate measures to stop the spread of the deadly virus.

But is it so deadly?

As the practice of the last five months has shown, the disease can be asymptomatic, in a mild, moderate or severe form. The most dangerous coronavirus is for people with weakened immunity. This category includes the elderly, people with HIV positive status, diabetics, heart disease, and the number of people with chronic lung disease.

If the coronavirus causes complications, then these complications relate to the lungs or the heart, in rare cases, the gastrointestinal tract.

The number of those who have recovered already allows conclusions to be drawn about the consequences of the effect of the virus on the body. Pulmonary experts argue that these consequences are dire. The coronavirus COVID19 continues to destroy the lungs of a person even after symptoms have been cured and tests for coronavirus are negative.

Chinese doctors diagnosed the cured lungs with frosted glass syndrome when examined on a tomograph. Computed tomography showed a decrease in the transparency of the lung tissue. In 25% of those who have been ill, there are disorders in the functioning of the lungs, in the form of shortness of breath. People suffocate when walking quickly, when climbing stairs or uphill. Difficulties in pronouncing long phrases without additional air capture are also observed.

Doctors continue to monitor such patients and conduct therapy. The worst fears of doctors are pulmonary fibrosis as a result of the coronavirus COVID19. Then a normal human existence will become impossible without an oxygen cylinder. In the most severe cases, a transplant may be necessary.

It is disappointing that the above symptoms after cure from coronavirus are observed in patients in whom the disease was asymptomatic or mild. Hence the conclusion that low mortality from coronavirus does not make it safe!

According to the WHO, hand hygiene and social distance are the best means of preventing infection.
